Default Split rod grips

I really like the way the split grip feels on the Team Daiwa® Cielo Bass Rods or Light & tough. I've only seen this option on the Shimano Crucial and the BPS Woo Dave model. Problem is I don't have the funds for the Daiwa or the Shimano and the Woo Dave has this on in the 7'4" model but I want it in a 7". So what can be determined is I'm a picky, cheap A** . Does any have any suggestions or recomendations (rod related)?

nice.

I'm wondering about modifying or replacing the grip, has anyone done that?
