Default Not Guilty

Because of some overzealous people from other states that had never been here before, my wife was charged with animal cruelty in July. This has knocked this wonderful women to her knees, just broke her heart. Those same people flew in for the trial today expecting to take control of the rescue had to fly back to PA. and Conn. with their heads tucked between their azz when that judge said Not Guilty.

My final words----you can now RIP River

That is wonderful news and I am so happy for your wife. She should never have had to put up with that cr*p.

It sounds like your wife is doing an awesome thing for animals that would probably be put down otherwise. God Bless Her!! Congratulations on the not guilty verdict!

I am very happy for you guys Ron. Because of her a lot of dogs get a second chance and anyone who tries to stand in the way of that needs a whippin.

Other than the zoning problem, I'd say your wife was pretty much completely vindicated. Congratulations. It's not often one can take on the legal beast and win.

So have you sorted the mess out with the kennel/rescue issues? Article online really didn't address that...http://articles.wdbj7.com/2011-09-27...uelty_30210265

We got 5 of our own, Pepper fifteen yrs old, Sam and Dakota 11 yrs old, Glory 9 yrs old and Catfish 2 yrs old. I don't know how many are in the rescue system, maybe 10 or 15.

We can no longer have a Kennel or board dogs but we can foster dogs.
