Default jigs

i have a 6'6'' medium heavy baitcast rod with 15 pound green trilene big game. is this adequite for light to moderate weed and wood cover with jigs?

Yes, I use the exact set-up with 14 pound line.

That sounds about right for jigging.
For 1/8 to 1/4 oz. jigs i use a All Star 6 ft. medium heavy fast action with #14 lb. test.....i also use this for smaller sized spinnerbaits.
For 3/8 to 5/8 oz. jigs i use a All Star 6 ft. heavy fast action with 17 lb. test.

I got some 5/16 ounce jigs what do yall recommend for that.

Same thing just might ugrade the line a little for stretch. or use a superbraid.

that what i have spooled up except im using flourocarbon its invisable and is low stretch
