I feel for ya Daniel. Last year Britney renewed hers over the internet and when the stickers came in she didn't have time to put them on right away so she put them up where she wouldn't lose them. So we looked for them for 3 weeks before she finally went and paid for more stickers.

Ok, ok.....Louann has such a rough day yesterday that I didn't want to make it any worse, so i was just going to let it die. Apparently, SOME PEOPLE can't do that....
She calls me up this morning on the way to the gym to tell me something, and asks during the conversation would would happen if she got pulled over for expired tags again. I told her that there was about a 99% chance that she would get another ticket. She says, "But I've already gotten one!" Yeah.....and you haven't yet fixed the problem that got you that ticket in the first place....

No, it turns out she hadn't gotten new stickers like we were thinking....we had some stuck to the refrigerator, but they were for the boat trailer. She went yesterday afternoon and paid her $129 and got the new ones.

Well as long as she is legal now that is all that matters. I know around here that is pretty much a fix it ticket. Meaning that as long as it has been taken care of before the court date chances are good that the judge will tear up the ticket when she goes to court, not sure how that works down there though. You really should send her a dozen roses to say "I am sorry for not making sure your tags were up to date and I feel horrible for causing you any inconvenience".

Here, it's an almost $200 fine. But she can bring the tag receipt she just got to court on Oct 17th to prove that she paid her money, and get the fine reduced to just a $50 "court fee." That's better, but she still has to go to traffic court and wait for Lord knows how long for them to call her name and get it handled by the judge.
And guess what October 17th is? Her birthday....
