Mustad Triple Grips and Gamakatsu EWG are the 2 I use.

This came up not long ago.

I've tried several different kinds and finally settled on these:

Been very happy with their performance.

The two I use the most are Mustad Triple Ripple Dipples or VMCs. I have used the short shank version of the mustads and also like them for my inline spinners. It seems to me that KVD's triples would be similar if not the same as the short shank triples which I have used well before KVD's hit the market. Gonna need to do more research on that to see if they're similar or the same.

Every replacement hook I use is a VMC Pyramid Point.... same ones that are used on the DT Series of baits...

All my baits that use treble hooks get Mustad Triple Grips put on them right out of the package. Right now I have about 100 hooks left in each of the sizes that I use but as soon as I use them up I am gonna try the new KVD Triple Grips a shot.

Gammy EWG treble hooks are what I use. I will say the Excalibur Tx3 treble hooks on their traps are quality hooks as well.

OWNER trebles are the best I've used. I was using Gammie EWG or Triple Grips - but I like these better. These are stronger, sharper and I like the black chrome finish.

Those Triple Grips are super sticky, I think you'll be happy with them. Check out the Gammy EWG's too, they have the same shape with a shorter shank.

I generally use 4's on most baits, 6's on smaller baits and 2's on bigger baits. I tend to put on a slightly larger hook than the one I took off.
