Default Cold & Windy but still caught 30 bass!

Went out saturday in 15-20 knot winds with my son Ben. The little trolling motor could hardly keep the boat moving forward, but the bass were hungry. Got about 30 on all types of artificials; swim baits, crank baits, jerk baits, rattle-traps, buzz baits, and a couple on spinnerbaits. We had fun trying to get pics of them jumping. Here are a few:

These are old shell pits that were stocked between 15 and 30 years ago. Some shallow areas of 3-8 feet with grass on the bottom. But mostly up and down terrain 18-22 feet. We were catching them all over the lake. On a full day of fishing all three lakes, 3 of us can catch between 80 and 100 bass!

From what I can see in the pics, it looks like most of them are spawned out, is that correct? Nice day on the lake, and obviously if you can catch that many bass in a day it's a nice honey hole to boot.

Actually they haven't spawned yet. We've been getting one cold front after another, which keeps pushing them off the beds. But it will be anytime now. I'll be moving over to the shallower lake for some site fishing!
