$100 Bait casting combo (for someone who'd never used a bait caster?)
Another $100 thread (I'll get famous for these, seeing as I know very little about fishing gear)>
I've got an "anniversary gift" coming from work, so I'm getting a new fishin' pole. Recommend a baitcasting combo for around $100, for someone who's never used a baitcaster before. - Needs to be retail item - no craigslist or second-hand, unfortunately. - Can be pieced together, but prefer to get both rod and reel from same store. - Doesn't need to include line or accessories. - Primarily for shore fishing, so plenty of heavy cover. On your mark, get set... GO! |
