Default Help! livewell turned into storage

I recently purchased an 88' ranger rawhide. The boat is in awesome shape and everything works great, except the main livewell. The boat has two livewells, one small one in the rear and a main larger one. The main livewell is on the front deck. The previous owner ran the wires for the trolling motor through the deck, into the top of the livewell and then through the drain plug to the back to access the batteries???? there isnt an aerator hooked up to this live well that I can tell. Should my one aerotor be running both live wells? Does anyone know anything about this as far as how to get the livewell working again? If so it would be greatly appreciated.

Should be no problem turning it back into a good working livewell. The hardest thing would be gaining access to the fill hose and drain hoseif thats the way its set up. Pull the troller wires back outta the drain plug and reroute them. Put the drain plug back in and fill with water to see if its sealed up. If it is drain it and reconnect the aierator line. I personally would install a bigger aierator on BOTH livewell's. Remeber thats the only means those fish have of staying alive in the well. Any more questions just holler.
