Default What is this boat worth?

I drove this boat today. Its a 2000 sprint 277 F/S Had a nice dry ride, but the steering was a little stiff. I think maybe it just needs some grease. the dang thing looks like new. I crawled under and the hull didnt even have a scuff, much less a nick or scratch. It has a 115 on a boat rated for a 130. Had me and my two boys in it half a tank of fuel and we hit 54 mph. the trolling motor is a minn. 50lb. thrust. any thoughts?

fantastic looking boat there. should fit the bill of a family outing. as for the price, i couldn't tell ya. never looked at anything that was outa my range when i was looking. i paid 10 grand for mine. 20 footer, cajun with a 200 johnson venom. yes i probably paid a little too much for it. but i like the dealer and have never had a problem getting anything fixed. never had to pay either. maybe of 1fastlaser, zooker. and a couple of others can tell you about the price.

That boat is a good size for most of the time on Allatoona and Carter's. I would be a bit intimidated with the size of some of the boats on Lanier and sometimes on Allatoona. Those Big boats can put out one heckuva a wave, you just have to keep an eye open for them and react accordingly (quarter the waves at a much slower speed than WOT). You would be fine and the little fellers would enjoy the heck out of it. Looks to be in excellent shape. I have a trick for the stiff steering, if the grease doesn't work. If you get it let me know and I'll help you get her fixed.

Sprint boats have had a bad rep for the innerlinner at the seat mounts cracking right thru.

Sprint fixed most of the warranty issues only to have them break again in the same spot..

Look for a crack at the base of the drivers seat.
