jim, i bought one for lisa with a spinning reel at the boat show. nice rod although i wish it was a 7 footer. it is a 6'. lisa seems to like it real good. lightweight, and well balanced for the money.

I'm hoping to pick it up soon , I grabbed a mega force reel last time i was there just cause I knew there was no way i would get the rod past her unseen . But I would love to have the revo , it would make me a happy boy .

The All Star Zell Rowland Topwater Special rods can't be beat. I use one for buzzbaits and spooks and the other for Pop-Rs. I have a few of the Platinum rods and an older carolina rig rod that is great. I use the Carolina rod for heavy spinnerbaits, toads and texas rigs. It is also good for chatterbaits! You can't beat them for the price! Watch BPS for specials on them.

The best thing about shopping at Dicks is you get money back with your Rewards card. Last summer I satisfied the Rod and Bait monkeys and bought enough crap to get $30 back to try to satisfy the Bait Monkey.

I've got one of the old WR1 rods, that I matched up with a BPS Extreme reel that I use as my primary rod......I really like it, and would consider their products for another rod.

I own an all-star rod that I bought near the end of last season, it got left in my boat and has been in storage ever since so I'm not sure on the model...but I really thought it was a nice rod for the money...if you will be going to dick's you need to check this out....

Just print it out, cut out the coupon and "bam" save yourself $10 bucks...I do this routinely throughout the season
