Default Jam Knot

This is the knot I tie almost all the time. I tie everything with this knot and it works well. I've been using this knot for the past 3 years but never knew what it was called until I saw this video clip with Jason Quinn. It works especially well with fluorocarbon line which is what I fish most of the time as well. Watch Jason Quinn on this video clip and he'll show how to tie it. He also shows a Polamar knot first but watch how he ties the Jam knot after that. It's real easy to tie. It may take a couple tries to get used to it but believe me it works.

Thats pretty good!! Kinda like a reverse clinch knot. I'll try that the next time I have to retie anything. Thanks for the link...
