its fall time and the water temps here in indiana are in the low 50's to upper 40's.....about what water temp do bass start to become more less agressive and shy away from topwater?......plan on fishing a new lake and am trying to decide how to go about fishing it....the average depth is probably 6 ft and has alot of dying lilly pads and has a few docks........thanks weidner21

Man, if water is in the upper 40's low 50's here the fish are snugglin with trees and all you can throw is jigs.

I'm with Jolly on that one-it's the dead of winter with temps like that here.

Water temps here are just now approaching 70.
