Really nice baitcaster.
Hey guys,
My dad and I have recently got into bass fishing again (after we sold our boat a few years ago, figures, eh?) and he needs some new gear. He bought a shimano rod/reel combo for about 200 at BPS, and frankly, it isn't cutting it. He wants to step up to some of the best (money isn't an option). We need some good opinions, rather than the shimano guys at BPS putting everything else down. He was looking at the quantam PT energy or something like that, but a good friend of ours says it breaks. What we fish for is peacock bass, and largemouth bass. He uses buzzbaits, spinnerbais, crankbaits, and jerkbaits. He needs something with a decent retreive, that would work best for everything. He has a few G-Loomis rods to put the new reel on, so that isn't an issue either. Any help would be much appreciated. -Jared. And once agian, money is no issue. Oh, and he's a really good fisherman, but he just isn't up to date with the latest and greatest.
