Of course, you were pike fishing right? I believe your bass season starts around the same as ours... I plan on doing some, errrr "pike fishing" myself this week!

BY the way congrats to Dad that is a Hog, especially for those of us north of the Mason Dixon line. Is it a personal best? What was it caught on? Where was it caught, give us some details...

Where'd you guys catch that one? I can't wait till bass season opens in MI so we can take the boat to all the lakes.

BASS SEASON IS OPEN!

Catch and release only though.

Unknown location in Lake Hudson... I also hooked up with a 45"+ musky around three minutes later. Hoss was so big she just rolled and dropped the bait.

I'll take you out no problem, Anthony. I am finding a new 'cheap' lure that kills bass and musky. Way cheaper than those musky baits....

PM me...

But those Musky baits are cool. We've already got a big box full of them. Now we've just got to catch something.

Thats a really nice bass! How did he catch him? Deep or shallow, what lure, all the juicy stuff.

All I'll say is shallow in emerging Milfoil beds...

All I'll say is.... Your typical bass bait; SLAYS the musky. All ready racked up one caught and three lost on it. Also caught two for me last year.

This reminds me of the young fella from Oregon, whose name escapes me, but would never reveal his secret spot or baits.... Just in case we all decided to fly off to Oregon...

I believe Keith is correct. C'mon Buzzie, let me... er.... I mean... US know where. We were fishing weeds in Hudson while we were there and I was still getting fouled with a spinnerbait. Insane.

I guess you could call this 'Dad's Thread'... Here he is with his tom from this morning. Weighed in at 17 pounds, had a 5" beard; 1/2" spurs.
