The pond I fish at

Here is the golf course pond i fish at the most but these are the hardest place to fish I have ever fished my whole life I have tried all of the following, trick worms, senkos, flukes, jigs, spinner baits,lizards, ribbon tail, lots of topwater, and some cranks with no luck so i will see what you guy's think.

those look like sweet pond ironman! surpised you havent pulled any out of it... looks way better than mine... i would think topwater frogs would be killer, maybe a buzzbait aswell. i gotta head down your way to show you some fishing

keep trying the things you are using, and you should pull some bass out of it. there are bass in it, right?

oh and those are nicec houses in the background...
my family is saving to move to florida someday.

Any other tip's??? I tried some of those little white curl tail grub's today that power bass tole me to use but i did'nt get any thing.

well, if there is bass in there than i dont know whats wrong with them. you shoulda at least got 1 by now! i guess just keep trying...

Well topwater frog's definatly don't work so I guess I will try those horney toads and if that does'nt work I will try buzz forgs.

boyah buzzbaits work well for me. the sound they make is defining! keep trying.

That looks like a great place to learn how fish hold to cover. What size line did you use with the grubs? Also try beetlespins. Go with small lures, I'm telling ya. Stop trying to fish it like its okeechobee.

If I were you I would find out what type of bait they are eating. If their main source of food is grasshoppers get a flyrod, if it's blue gill or shad, get a ML spinning rod with 8 lb p-line or vanish and dropshot a tiny french fry or tiki stick. I'm talking 2" with about an 8" leader and 1/8 oz sinker. Use a small 1/0 wide gap hook. Or, use the same rod/reel/line with a grub agian. If they eat crawfish, use a small 1/8 - 1/4 oz black or green jig reeeeellllll slow on the bottom, and maybe reel fast through the base of the pads. I'd trim the skirt and use no trailer if I was you making it the least threatening as possible. Try and make it about 1.5" square so that it is tiny. Use same rod/reel/line as above. Try alot of different presentations with each bait. Stick with that grub or jig and you'll catch a bass!!

Seriously, make sure there are really bass in those ponds and not just carp or big a$$ shad or something. I cast at about a 15lb carp one time on a bass bed. Guess the male was gone and it was snacking on the eggs Thought it was the world record bass until we got close enough beside him! Felt like a schmuck! LOL

If that don't work their ain't no bass in those ponds!!!

Is the water clear? Can you see any fish in the ponds? Do you see fish jumping out of the water eating bugs? Can you snorkel?

Well, I'm not sure that there are Bass in there (but it does look pretty bassy!). I dunno, I say stick with it keep givin stuff a shot. If you can get ahold of some live bait like grasshopers, minnows etc, to verify that there is actually bass in there. Otherwise keep at it.

A thought on finding out what bait: Get a cast net. Don't know why I din't think of it before. I know there are lots of pads but you can still pull bait up. Usually pick cast nets up for under $20 at wally world or academy. Let us know!

If your in florida there is bound to be bass in there... SURELY!!

Oh what the hell, go get some yellowtail worms like they use for big bluegill and shellcracker down there, a bobber, split shot and some proper hooks and use those. Geez, you will catch something if its in there. If you get panfish, there are almost certainly bass. Really I think, unless that pond is only about a foot deep there must be bass in it. I've caught nice fish in smaller ponds than that. The only reason there wouldn't be fish is if it dried up within the past 2 or so years.

or live worms... the panfish go crazy for them under a bobber where im at...
also, if its a golf course pond, maybe ask the pro or someone at the pro shop. the guys at my golf course know the whole history of the lakes and ponds.

Maybe there is'nt bass in there, I have not seen any panfish but I see breaking water all the time so I don't know I will just keep trying.

Yea I have some that I just bought and I fished the last two day's but nothing. worms I mean

I think there are bass in their and if I don't thhink I am doing anything wrong I think it is just them.
