Default Hook Question...

What hooks do you prefer when throwing a senko either wacky or texas rigged? Im heading to Bass Pro shops on my lunch break and need some new hooks.

(As I sit hear telling myself that I only need HOOKS and dont need to drop 100.00 on my lunch break at BPS. Im telling you the place holds some weird power over me)

I use a 4/0 Owner Cutting Point Hook for Texas rig and weightless. And I use a small circle hook for the Wacky rig, but I cant remember the size.

I try and always fish the biggest hook I can get away with...reason being is that the hook will take more flesh when you hook into a fish and hook the fish deeper back....resulting in fewer lost fish...4/0 hook for my senkos....5/0 eagle claws for my worms.

There is a BPS in Hampton which is about an hour drive for me but... they are building one in Ashland which is 5 minutes from my office. They are also building a Gander Mountain one street from the BPS. We already have a fishing/hunting shop that's loaded and also a Dick's within 5 minutes of my office. My wife is NOT going to be happy. I may need to get a second job to support my habits! LOL

Oh yea... I use 4/0 Mustad or Gammy EWG (super line) hooks for Senko's.
