Recent catches
Here's a couple fish from the radioactive mudhole and the river. Also two pics of a matted feeder creek on the river where I caught the pair I'm holding up.

Horney toad in watermelon/red pearl caught the first one off the grass edge in the bottom pic. Magnum trick worm caught the bigger of the two off the small set of pads in the lower right hand corner.
That little magic swimmer is a sweet bait on both the lake and river. And Yes! Bama that is a Joe Pa hat!!! |

Missed a nice keeper off the wood in the back of the last picture. The fish just crushed the toad and I missed him. Got to love the bites when the fish come from 10' away and you see the wake coming after the bait. Very hard to wait on the hookset!!

Yeah I missed way too many fish on the river that day. If the fish hit they absolutely crushed the bait and I still missed them. But I'll take that type of fishing anytime.

Those are some good lookin fish. And the water looks like bucket mouth heaven. I'd love to get my frog in there. And take your buddy sasquash along to keep the other anglers away, lol.
