August 18th. less than a week away. I'm going fishing this weekend. no matter what. Rain, snow, bluebird skies, hail, wind, hurricane...

I can sympathize with hardly fishing this summer. Between work, car fixing, and my girlfriend, I've hardly been out on the water all summer.

I'm a senior in HS this year and we start on the 21st... it's not that I dislike school it's that i love to fish the mornings, and well... i can't do that.

Your school comments caught my attention since I have spent 50 0f my 61 years in school
either as a student or a teacher. It used to be hard on me when I was on my way to school in the mornings and passed someone pulling their boat to the lake. I just retired from education so now I get to be the boat hauler. You guys (and gals) have a good school year! |

I agree with you Ryan, morning is a good time to fish, although I like fishing in the late evening just as much. The sun's going down, it isn't hot anymore, and the fish tend to bite better.
