Default Sunken Boat Cleaning

alright, apparently the boat that i am supposed to fish tourneys out of with my partner this year sunk recently im not sure on exact details but it didnt sink completely so the interior needs to be completely cleaned, which i can handle. anyone have any tips on efficiently cleaning the gas tank? Thanks in advance!

Best advice I could give is to use Alcohol right after you take the water hose to it. Lots and lots of swishing and rinsing. Hmmm might be a bad omen to fish from a boat that sunk. Just kidding as long as there is no grime and gunk in it you should be fine. I would suggest getting a new or adding an inline fuel filter though. Usually about 5 to 10 bucks at walmart. I think walmart even has a canister type filter with rechangable filters for about 30 bucks.

also check out each and every pump, hose, and fuel lines too. gauges, steering (greese), and every moveable part.

the wiring part... check every connetion even a tiny amount of rust will mess up some equipment..
