Default Boat motor Question

Im looking at a boat that has a new power head so is the power head the top end of the motor? If so i take it has been replaced. Guess is it ok to purchase one with a new power head? Thanks for any help

If the price is low enough. What type of engine and how old? Did the guy say why it was changed?

It is the a actual engine the entire motor entales the electronics and lower unit. That is a good thing especially on an older motor. Fish2win

the power head is the engine block assembly it is like getting a new engine for your car or truck FRESH powerhead would mean rebuilt.

Unless the rest of the motor is wore out too, yea its fine. Check to make sure it wasnt a saltwater motor and everything is is good too though. Sometimes you run into a motor that has about 20 problems, and the powerhead is just the first one.
