Default Restoring!!!

I am fixing up my 1982 hydrasport i bought a little while ago, i have not had a chance to take it out because it took a while for me to get the liscense and registration deal worked out, there was wrong information sent from the seller so it took a while!!!

I am thinking of going ahead and recarpeting it. It is getting to that point and i was wondering where is the best price to get the marine carpet at?

where is the best quality?
and
where is the best price?

Thanks!!!

Just my 2 cents but I believe that I would check the motor out before I put a lot of money in it.

I do believe that I would have the compression checked and the put the rabbit ears on and listen to it run. Been there got burnt up on a boat no good.

www.tinboats.com has a lot of mods and information about fixing up boats. I've added decking and carpeting to my new boat using their information. Very helpful site concerning techniques and materials when working on boats. Check it out. Good Fishing, Mac

I agree with Bama and Earl I just went through this with a boat I bought took it out on the water and told the guy ok I will think about it and he said that he was gonna have it winterized so I took his word for it and the other day i went to take it out on the water and I had a pool of lower unit grease and about a 3 inch crack in my lower unit and now 1200 bucks later I am back on the water so yeah get it checked by a credible mechanic,

MY APOLOGY.....It's www.tinboats.net for the good website on mods for boats, and not www.tinboats.com as shown. Sorry for the blooper. Good Fishing, Mac
