1st place on Castle Rock Lake, WI

Took 1st place in my first club tournament of the '07 season on Castle Rock Lake in WI. 4 out of 5 fish came on a 3/8 oz T-Rexx spinnerbait. 1 came on a shaky head. East winds 20 mph were fun. At least the rain held off.

Nice job!!! I fish about 20 min away from castle rock at a small lake and have been doing good lately.

Thanks guys. Ever notice how many more people take interest in you after you win a tourney as opposed to coming in with the big "goose egg" or one fish.

I figure you're only as good as your next tourney and you're only "friends" with some of these guys if you're winning. I had 4 invitations to prefish for our next tourney already and exchanged 4 e-mail addresses.

It's good for T-Rexx lures though as when they were "pumping me for info." on the win I could proudly admit that 4 out of my 5 came on that spinnerbait. Handed out some cards so hopefully I can kickstart some business.
