Default senko length

hey guys i love fishing senkos and they work well for me but i was just wondering about the sizes. I've been fishing with a 7 inch and they have been working but i was wondering if the 5 inch would work better or what the size difference means. Thanks for the help.

Actually what you will notice is an improvement in the quantity of fish you´re going to catch, bigger baits like a 7 incher cull fish just because they are bigger, decreasin the size to 5" ( regular size ) will improve your catch ratio, a 5" is much more "mouthable" for smaller fish, which doesn´t mean you will loose the ability of the bait to catch bigger fish. I tie 4 and 5 inchers most of the time and they do catch a whole lot more fish than those monster 7 inchers.

Lightbulb

A general rule of thumb is to use a 6 or 7 inch bait and if they bite gets finicky then start experimenting with downsizing,,usually a 4 inch plastic is small enough to scale down to..if they wont hit that you're either not putting the bait in their strike zone, or they are in a neutral mood and won't snap at nothing
