Default Colors of baits

I know I should experiment myself, but could someone recommend some colors to purchase for the following baits:

Rubber Jig
Paca Craws
Superfluke
Tiki DipStick
Jerkbait
Crankbait

You don't need to get too deep, just a few colors.

P.S.- Do you use Paca Craws or baby Paca Craws?

Thanks-
Julien

Jigs-what skeeter said plus watermelon.

Paca craw-same for ALL soft plastics-green pumpkin, watermelon seed, watermelon red, junebug

Super Fluke-smokin' shad and baby bass.

Tiki Dip Stick-the above colors plus redbug.

Jerkbait-I'm guessing you mean hard baits-chrome blue/back back. gold black back and clown

Crankbaits-shad, crawfish, or variations there of.

PS-Baby Paca Craws.

Regarding soft plastics-there is every color of the rainbow out there-I know because I have them -but you don't need to go overboard. If you start with core colors-watermelon, watermelon red flake, green pumpkin and junebug you will be able to catch fish everywhere you fish.

There isnt a best. Look at the water your fishing and you can easily match baits to the water. In clear water I try to match my jigs and soft plastics to the bottom color. On sunny days my hardbaits will be shiny. On overcast days I like a color like white or gray. In muddy water I like bright colors on my cranks and spinnerbaits. I fish with either bright soft plastics or extremely dark ones (purple, black, etc,).

Yeah. I never realized it, but I guess you can see pretty deep in most lakes.

Do you get the dipsticks or the solid tiki worms?

Jools, I use both but use the solid Tikis more than the Dip Sticks. If I had to choose one I'd go with the Tiki Swirl Series-baby bass/pearl swirl and watermelon chartreuse swirl.

I'd have to agree with Skeeter, and add electric blue plastic worms.
