Default Worm weight painting.

With time on my hands I've again started painting my worm weights.

Fishing from the shore thru grass, vegetation and around docks I normally use a T-rig. Instead of the worm weight being the natural lead color and contrasting with my worm, I paint my weights, using nail varnish, a deep red or black as I normally fish with red to black plastic worms.

It might help. It gives me confidence so works for me.

I do get odd looks from some of the pharmacy sales girls when asking for a deep red or black nail varnish

I get my weights already painted red. BPS carries them. They work like a charm!

I have the powder painting kits for weights where you heat the lead and the dip it in the powered and then let it sit and it does good for lead. Has any tried this on Tungston weights. I never thought about it because i love tungston weights but never tried use the powered paints on them.

tungsten has a very high melting point so i would bet you could do it.
