How do you hook a plastic worm so that it wont get stuck in the weeds? or rocks?

Take a look at this pick. When i was taught this i was told it was a texas rig but i'm not so sure anymore. This is a great weedless rig. I use eagle claws lazer sharp round bend hooks. Size is your preference I prefer the 4/0. I'ts my profile pic.

Hey michigan, is that really weedless, cause it looks like it could get stuck, but I'll try it sometime.

I think in michiganbassassassin's AVATAR (emphasis on AVATAR) , its only weedless if you use an already weedless hook. Look at his AVATAR, not any diagrams but his AVATAR. Also its not a texas rig.

Alright, right now, im probably the most confused person in the world. I've been showed two ways to "Texas rig a worm". Someone please help. If you look in a bps mag it shows how to "Texas rig", it is a totally different way than michigans avatar. Take a look at mack's method and the look at michigans, they are both called a "Texas rig". That is what confuses me, which one is a correct "Texas rig", or are they both, and if they are how many more ways are there too "Texas rig" a worm. I have understood for 5 years, that, a "Texas rig" is a method of rigging a soft plastic, with a bullet weight above an offset hook, then inserting the hook point about a half inch or so, depending on the hookand worm size, and then coming out, pulling the pastic up the hook till it is on the offset then reinserting the hooks point into the plastic, and not coming out. The worm would be rigged like in mack's diagram, but with a bullet weight above it.
Sorry for being short earlier. God bless Texas
