Abu Orra Winch
I know its become a small crowd around here lately, but is there anyone remaining that has used any of the Abu Orra2 series reels... particularly the Winch. I'd like to read some user impressions and comparisons. Thanks

While I dont own one
Do half doz other models from a 5600 to a revo s,the latter being a closer relative
.It is as the name implies a winch if you have a bass wedged in the fork of a tree, you can winch it out, please place tree back for future cover. If your desire is to burn baits then choose another reel with a FASTER GEAR ratio. Its best feature is its braking system rated I think 21-22lbs. Beefy, metal gears etc,but also not a lightweight. If you need to winch them out get them in its THE reel if cruising the bank and searching covering water choose another reel.Meaning a reel for days when buried. |

Eagle, if you are looking for a winch type reel for big deep crankbaits take a look a the BPS Pro Qualifier. These are the best reels I have found. Smooth, light, tough, and will not break the bank. I have them in the range from 4.7:1 to 7:1 and if I am buying another reel the PQ is what I will buy.
