Very good batteries, and where else can you go at 3AM the morning of a Tx and replace a battery? (assuming your Wal-Mart is 24 hour)
I run a Jon Boat club, electric motors only, and 95% of the guys use these batteries. |

I have (2) of them powering my trolling motor and 1 for the black beast. Very good batteries IMO.

Never leave home without em. I suggest you get the gel-cell(ones that don't ever require water).

I also like them alot, have used them for 4 years now.I use the 27 Trolling series Everstart batteries. They have more reserve amps than a cranking amps, of course I don't have a big motor to need a cranking battery. I use a pull cord to start "the big motor". Roflmao....P N J

I use the Everlast batteries from Wallyworld because they've got a 1 year pro rated warranty. I fish a lot and the batteries just go bad after so many recharges, but it's downfall is also a blessing in disguise. When the thing dies or won't hold charge anymore, all you have to to is take it back to Wal-Mart and they'll replace it for free. If your battery goes bad within the year, every year, then that's gonna save you a lot of money in the long haul since there's no limit on the number of replacement batteries you can get. Saves me $64 every time!

I just replaced two 14 month old Everstarts with two brand new Everstarts. Total cost: $0.00
They have an 18 month free replacement waranty, and your waranty starts over when you get new batteries. I told the fellow at the counter that "At this rate I'll never buy new batteries again". He laughed and said "Yup" as he gladly accepted my old ones over the counter and printed up new waranty cards for my new batteries. There may be better batteries out there like Trojans and Optimas, but there is definitely NOT a better value in batteries. |

i agree on price, i was surprised that big 875 battery for 64 dollars..only thing i was curious..on sears the mechanic went and put water in battery when i bougt it.
at wal-mart they sit on shelf with water in them..i wonder if the store workers do this ahead of time or if batterys come with water in them.. i think a battery that sits with water in for months will not last as long as one they fill for you when you buy it.. |

Wal-Mart moves enough of everything this shouldn't be a problem, especially in areas with a lot of lakes nearby!

I actually just purchased one of the Everlasts from Walmart. A good thing to know is that you can get a discount if you bring in any type of similar battery....even if you found it on the side of the road. So if you have an old battery, take it in with you when you go to purchase the Everlast.

That's the core charge, not really a discount, but you can look at it that way!

Check the date
On all batteries that wallfart sells there is a sticker on top or side that reads i.e. B4 meaning Feb 04 as the producton date. The rack that wallfart has may be front loaded with old product so take a few out and check the stock in the back. The last cranking battery I bought there lasted 6 yrs. no kidding a good value !!!!
