Finally...

...after a month I got my boat in the water.Seems like all i did was work on it all the time.And I still ain't done.
But,Sunday I took my oldest son fishing.He lost my anchor.Snagged and broke his line several times and while i was fixin his rod he was catchin fish on the other.At one point,he had a bird nest and while i was trying to pull it out he had a fish on it.I handed him back the rod and he got the fish in.
I was gettin a little frustrated and he says to me:"Don't hate the playa.Hate the game!"
I then threatened to make him swim back to the dock.

Dad: 0

don't ya just love it,,all in a dad's days work...next you will have to teach him how to hold those monster's closer to the ol camara,,the jimmy houston trick,,turn a 2lb in to a 10,,good job there dad!!

whup, I love it. My son the bassinbandit that post on here, he's 26 years old and we still do most of our fishing togather, we have a boat togather, we we both take the bait monkey shopping. He fishes about ten tx a year, I only fish about 3 or 4. It means more to me to see him catch a big fish than me catch one. I know you feel the same way.

Sounds like some of my fishing stories with my kids... And i am sure my Dad has some of the same about me...LOL But still a good time is had by all. Priceless.
