I think all that are listed have a high end rod, I've had shimiano rods, and diawa, but the ones I fish now are not on your list, All Star is what I 've got now along with one ABU Garcia, and 5 Bionic Blades, and one Fenwick

its hard to single one out when you specialize size and strenght for certain applications

Abu falls in the signature series. and if you have other Rods not listed then by all means list them for others to see. Thanks JB

Default scheels

I am a HUGE fan of scheels rods.. guide series. they run about 100 bucks on average, but are absolutely fantastic pieces... I couldnt be happier with em.
lifetime warranty, even if its your fault.

I have a couple of American Rodsmith rods and an Allstar rod that I really like. I will probably get more of them as time goes on.

ugly stiks because they are cheap, all around great rods and i'm always cramming my rods into the back of a car and if one breaks, which is very unlikely, there's a warranty to cover it. If i had a nicer rod, i would want a crazyfish one though.

With exception of a couple Lightning Rods I purchased back in the early 80´s all my rods are GLoomis.

I only have one Fenwick HMX but I like it a lot. Like JB said it depends, I have a BPS Woo Davies X-Treme for Drop shotting and I like it for that. The only one that I have broken though was a Quantum and it snapped when hung up on some weeds last week. I also have a Berkley Bionix (don't like the handle), Shimano (good all around), another Quantum, BPS Ultra Lite, and a couple other I can't remember.
Next one will either be an All-Star, Airrus, or another Fenwick.

Mine is against yours Zooker, it has a Shimano Calcutta reel on it!
I bought it as a gift for my dad but now he is using Hammer rods from Mississipi so I "un-gifted" it from him. I guess if you have something that works well then why change?

I voted for Quantum since I use 5 of them, but would rather had voted for Castaway, I use the fenwicks and All star as well as a few Falcon and a LoneStar rod.During certain times, I use 2 berkley series one pistol grips, and some old discontinued Abu Garcia Larry Nixon Tournament rods which I have 5 left. Then theres a Saint Croix avid I own, but won't brag about.

I voted for St Croix, but also love and have some GLoomis's. I guess it's a perosnal choice, but as JB stated, I buy a rod reel, for specific applications. So the Brand is important, such as I won't buy a Kistler or a Ugly Stick, but would buy other brands if they have what I'm looking for in a rod, based on a technique I use.

I haven't had the pleasure of fishing with any of those rods. I'm sure they are great but out here it's hard to get a quality bass rod. Every where you go it's Salmon/Steelhead or fly rods.

I did find a nice rod thats made just five miles from my house. Most of you probably haven't heard of them as I don't think they are that big of a company yet. But the name is Rogue Rods.

I got a very nice rod that I'm extremely happy with. It is called MB 764C. Not sure what all that means but it's 7'6" MH. It cost $190, not sure if that is good but the rod is nice and the people at the shop were nice. Not a lot of other quality brand rods to compare price against out here. Now that I got this one, I'm not sure that I'll ever buy another brand of rod. My reel is an old Mitchel SC30 spiderwire reel. Probably a cheapy. I got it a long time a go. Works ok for me so I never went out and replaced it.

Hmmmmm...

Love the St.Croix Avids
Pre-Shakespeare TeamAllStar
(To be fair, the current TAS are probably every bit so good as the older ones. It's just that I wanted rods from an INDEPENDENT maker!...See: St.Croix, Falcon, Kistler.)
Kistler (Only have one, an LTA, and I really haven't used it much yet.)
Lowrider (and want to try the "Cara")
