went fishing today!

i went fishing today with my buddy BassMasters,the pond has a lot of scum everywhere.we were seing a lot of bedding bass in the 1-3 lb range but could catch them.i caught an 8 inch bass and so did bass masters on a trick worm and a paddle tail plastic worm.i saw a nice fish guarding his bed,i pitched my trick worm to it and as it land softly on the bottom,it sparked his intrest.i jiglle it a little bit a saw his gills flare and feel the tap,and as he runs towards deeper water,i set the hook into him.he weighed about a pound and a half,nice and fat.we snapped a photo and released him.pretty good day considering it was pre cold front.
