Senkos are good for this kind of fishing. Dropshot is deffinately good. I need to do this more. Just throw it out and tighten up the line and let it sit. Also jigs. THere you go not get to dead sticking.

Pull stop for about a hour pull a little stop for a long long time. Deadsticking is not moving your bait for long periods of time. Lighter line would prob be best. Cause fish will have a long time to look at your bait.

My favorite dead stick bait is a Tiki Stick. Cast it out and just let it sit.

Yeah or like reb just weightless rig it and let it sit on the bottom. Also try a shakey head deadsticked this summer for bass on their nests.

My favorite bait is a Yum dinger. You rig it weightless and throw it out and let it sink; you can also work it like a jerkbait.
