What type of music?
ok what type of music is everyone into ? I mostly listen to metal and hardcore metal but i enjoy almost everything else as well from the doors to sublime and from as i lay dying to pantera . I listen to very little rap but do like someone that is a true lyricist . how about everyone else ?

I listen to mostl hard rock, same as you guys, pantera, metalica..etc. and classic rock. Since I've piced up the guitar to try once again to learn to play, I'm finding myself getting into blues. There's some country and rap that I like, but only a few.

Well...
CCR, Jefferson Starship, Skid Row, ACDC, Buffalo Springfield, Bon Jovi, Bob Seger, Montgomery Gentry, Trace Adkins, Alan Jackson, etc. I also like some punk rock. Disturbed, Kitty, etc. Anything but rap or hip hop. You know "rap" is the main part of "crap".. |

disturbed and kittie don't really count as punk rock bands like rancid , early green day and MXPX are punk bands kittie and disturbed count as numetal bands. and watch the hate on rap take a chance and listen to some early rap like run dmc , a tribe called quest , krs one , the era before gangsta rap or todays crack rap and it is solid music that is enjoyable . even with gangsta rap they are just talking about the places that they are from and what they see day to day , pick up any album from nas pure lyricist all the way around or big l another good one . try em you never no you might like it

jim just gave you a list of great artists... why hating? nas and jay are still around and relevant. There is other stuff besides 50 and Flo Rida. 50 actually does have some decent stuff... anyhow outkast is about to drop an album, the new lil wayne album was pretty nice, and of course you can listen to the brilliance of tupac and BIG. Speaking of Linkin Park, theyre pretty much rap (Mike Shinobi/ fort minor) and they had a nice album with Jay, plus a graet single with Busta Rhymes (We Made It)

Mostly rock, anything from Bob Dylan to the White Stripes time wise - excluding the new metal years. Most often I go back to shoegaze, grunge and alternative from the early 90s like nirvana, smashing pumpkins, sonic youth, my bloody valentine, and radiohead.
