Fresh epoxy on the rods
I know I don't contribute as much as I used to around here, but I am still in the shadows lurking as usual. Between kids' activities, trying to keep my boat wet, and building rods, not much is left. But here are a couple of rods I really put my nose to the grind on and got finished while I have been home.
First: This is a donation rod for a gathering called Blessed of the Hunt that takes place annually at a local church. I saw the sign and just felt a conviction to build a rod for it. People see a lot of door prizes and what nots, and it draws a big crowd. But you never know, someone might be there that have never the heard a message and be touched (Matthew 4:19). It is on a Castaway 844 MH-MF blankand reelseat, Fuji Alconite guides, and EVA grips. I kept the wraps minimal because I had to finish it when I got home 2 weeks ago.
