Do you still use maggots as fish bait in the U.K.? I remember fishing in Brixham as a boy. Stayed in a guest house there. They gave me my mackerel for breakfast. Did you ever know Charlie the carp?

Thanks for welcome, I generally am an all round angler, fishing within the season for different species, but for some reason I'm concentrating more on my predators ......

well mrmakk...i think you are gonna fit in here REAL NICELY pal. can't wait to see pics from the grand old land.
gotta question for you if i may.....how big do largemouth bass get there? and do you have smallies as well? i guess the correct question is what are all the different types of bass do you have there in england? thanks and hope you have a lot of fun buddy. we had a couple from over there as members a couple of years ago. they would vacation over here and fish and post pics and stuff while they were here. unfortunantly the husband passed and we haven't heard from the wife since. i forget their names. but they were a VERY nice set of folks. we enjoyed them tremdously. have fun and come over anytime you can pal. and if you are this way, holler at me, i'll take ya out on the BEST bass lake around. GUNTERSVILLE LAKE, GUNTERSVILLE ALABAMA.
