Default drop shot!!!!

Where (shallow, deep, in the open, around structure) and in what condition (clear, dark, or muddy water)(raining, sunny, etc.) is the drop shot used?

Succinctly put, anytime, anyplace, anywhere!

It's true.

Wow! That really sucks! It's basically saying that you should use dropshots in various places, not to be shy with using them in shallow water, or casting them, rather than using them vertically. He also talked about using different hooks. 1/0 - 2/0 Mosquito hooks for rocky places, open water etc. And using a 1/0, offset weedless hook for weedy places, or where you would typically fish hang ups.

Hope this help,

Good luck and good fishin'

I drop shot just about everywhere with the exception of really stained water.

Can't imagine a computer these days without sound. Every computer has a sound card. Maybe we can help you get your sound up and working.

The drop shot works significantly better than other presentations in pressured water, but will work in any situation. As the DS has become more popular its already spawned variation including the bubba shot where yoiu use 16lb line for heavy cover, or a skipping version for current.....the use of flurocarbon has really made this an effective technique. Pro anglers promoting the technique all seem to describe diffrent presentations, which should clue you in to its veratility.

I've actually used drop shottin' on beds. the length between the weight and hook may be less than a foot. Also, for DS in a weedless enviroment the Owner Down Shot hook lessens your hang-ups.
