Default lure quiz ?

This is a plug I found in a lake a month ago..me and T5 discussed it a little but no definitive answer on what it is?

If you are wondering what it is, I would say a lip less crank. That does look pretty awesome if you ask me also.

I believe that Yours is a Bagley Balsa Pinfish/Shiner, this is the closest example I can find to compare to the one you have.

The picture is of a model 3, and yours appears to be a model 2

Yea That's as close as anything I can find. Still wonder about the eye pattern and lack of logo on the bottom.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BAGLEY-BALSA...item519c0efc10

This is a link to ebay, there is one for sale that is the same model as your, different color, notice the absence of the logo. The eyes are different but the line tie position, and overall shape of the lure match.

One more little detail...no rattles. Somebody knows for sure, I'm going with T's guess until then. I wish there was some kind of antique roadshow for fishing stuff.
@pnj I'd like to see if I can catch some fish on it in '12 I love the action of a trap type plug-just never have liked rattlin baits. The counter-weighted balsa design also intrigues me a bit.

I looked at a close up of the ebay plug and the molding marks on the bottom are almost identical, pending further revelations I think we have a winner.

I somehow missed this post. Scott if that was a sincere answer to my question, it was precious. If you have reached the age where dry sarcasm fits ino your style of humor, you will go far in life as well as endear your self to many members here. Either way thanks and keep it up.

There are a lot of silent Japanese traps on the market.

Megabass vibration X Ultra silent trap
Lucky Craft LV300S
Team Daiwa Pro vibration 105S, 106S, 107S
There are more like Lake police, Toray, Ken craft,BassDay.I think Gary Yamamoto had a sugoi trap that was silent.
