Need new fish finder!!

My screen on my fish finder went out! The light still works and I can hear it chirping when I hit the buttons, but nothing on the screen

Anyway, I leave for Canada in less than 2 weeks for a fishing trip so I would like to get a new one before then. I have been looking at a Humminbird 585c. Looks like I could get one for around $200. Anyone have any experience with that one or know of a comparable one?

Oops...I was actually looking at the Garmin 160c

I have one and sadly it needed repair I will always own hummin bird from now on their customer service was out standing during removal of the transducer I cut the wire I called to let them know they said no worries send it it we will test it completely. It was free of charge

and in very short time also if you trust the web site they boast about being the first in with many innovations

You have it mounted off the transom? I have been reading they don't do very well back there.
