Default hooks

For flukes and toads, a 4/0 round bend Gammy.

For bubby rigging....Owner Rigging Hooks

For worming....Bass Pro XPS Worm Hooks

For finesse....Either Gammy Worm hooks sized 1 or 2, also at times Charlie Brewer Crappie and Snagless Slider hooks.......both 1/16

Live bait...Gammy circle hooks

I've used VMC, Gamakatsu, Eagle Claw, Mustad and others. If it's the size and style I want and the point is sharp, then I'm not that concerned about which brand it is.

I use gamakatsu on all my plastics. And I replace all my trebles on cranks with gamakatsu. I would like for hooks on my jigs and spinners to be replaceable, but unfortunatenay, they're not. Alot af good sharp hooks on the market and it's all in what you have confudence in, is what you want to use. Good fishing.

Gamakatsu. I have had to many bad experiences with other brands. I would rather spend the extra dollar on Gamakatsus and know that I am fishing the sharpest most dependable hook made.

gamakatsu
3/0 offset, man thats one tough hook to even get out of the bass's mouth
and as a added plus they fit nicely on soft jerk baits, flukes etc.
Owners are my top choice for crankbait hooks, I usually will replace almost all my crankbait hooks as soon as I buy them with Owners#6

Gammy only if they are the Superline Hooks along with Owner's. They both are very sharp, keep a sharp point even after staightening them out the hook is still sharp. They bend a lot less, which means more confidence for me. I use mostly braid or fused line when fishing, so I know I'm "USUALLY" gonna get my hook back, or crank for that matter LOL. But I can get the pliers out, put the hook back in it correct shape and never, never, never have to get the hook sharpener out.
