if i had to guess it's somewherein the 50's.don't worry about it.im rating is almost meaningless.some of the finest rods in the world are made out of im8 graphite.one im8 rod may be nice and another may suck,

Yeah, I go along with the other guys here, the thing about rods to me is that you should pick the right rod for the type of fishing you'll be doing. I have an idea the higher the modules/millions whatever, the lighter the rod is supposed to be. To me, it's all about how it looks and feels in my hand when matched up with a nice reel. I have several, hundred dollar rods, and a few 50 dollar rods, to me their just about all equal when it comes right down to actually fishing with them. I try not to get overly concerned about the details and just concentrate on having fun.

if you look,a lot of rod makers don't even mention IM rating...that is probably the least important feature(IM rating)about a rod,IMO...from what one manufacturer rep told me the higher the IM rating the more brittle the rod is.how true that is ...i don't know..i'll pick up a rod, feel it's weight, press the tip against the floor...look at the action...then put it back if it's not what i'm looking for..if it is,i buy it...
