Default done with another lure, who wants it?

here it is, my first shad lure. its smoother than what the pic shows tho. anyways, ill give it to the first person who asks for it, and iall id ask is for honest feedback. however, i cant send it until i do bassintxladys. first one got the epoxy bubbles, second one had the scre eye mis angled, and the third one dove like an inch. i have it carved and the lip is in. ill paint it tomorrow. i have 5 other forms ready to paint, ill send em out after theyre done.

any comments on this one?

Your local pet shop might have parrot feathers, make sure you don't get bit by them though.Jb how many lure tails could you tie from a Down sleeping bag ? P N J

Doc, That is probably just as well, I suspect once you start yanking on its tail feathers, that bird is gonna cause trouble and most likely would end your lure making career before it really got started. P N J

From a deer hide, or a deer mount. Find somebody who hunts, they'd be willing to give you some.

What do you guys think about dog hair? I've got two retrievers and a hound dog mutt, so if It worked, I would have a mighty fine supply of hair.

You can get deer hair from tackle shop that deals with fly tying. I use Elk hair on my hair jigs I use for smallies.
