Default What makes a buzzbait roll onto its side?

First off, I realize I mostly use what you would concider "cheap lures" such as the $1 spinnerbaits and buzzbaits from Walmart, but for the most part these work fine for me....although I'm unsure if the bait that gave me so much trouble yesterday came off the dollar rack or not.

It was a small triple blade buzzbait....and if I held my rod tip really high and reeled just bearly fast enough to keep the bait on the top of the water it did ok, but any faster and the dumb thing would seem to turn left and then roll over on its side.

I tried bending the arm with the blade left, right, up and down, but only succeeded in making matters worse....it seemed nothing I did helped.....So my question becomes. Is this nothing more then a tuning issue, or does this lure have other issues that causes the roll over problem?
