Default Reel repair.

Yesterday while casting my buzzer with my BPS Rick Clunn baitcaster, the little brass ring insert in the line guide started falling out with every cast. I called our local BPS store and of course the reel being 2 years old is not covered under warrenty anymore. He suggested sending the reel to the BPS reel repair service. The funny thing was as I was explaining what happened to the guy at BPS, he mentioned the brass guide falling out before I did which makes me think this must be a common problem with these reels. Anyways, I'm debating sending the reel to BPS for repair, hoping they will take care of it for free and send it back to me, or repairing it myself. But I'm not sure what type of glue to use to secure the brass ring to the plastic line retrieve guide?

I'm pretty much sold on permatex epoxy, you can it at automotives stores or walmart car stuff section. It comes in a two tube syringe and takes five minutes to set. Its been holding on some plastic and metal parts on my bike for a long time.
