New to the site
hello
found the site and here i am. dedicated family/fisherman from the great state of west virginia although most of my fishing is in va. i am a smallie fanatic but also enjoy the bucket mouth. got into the tournament scene last year and am having a ball and have been pretty succcessful so far. my strong points are finesse fishing(i suppose from all the years of trout, smallie action) but have really enjoyed the jig and lipless crankbaiting. most of my time is spent on lakes moomaw and claytor but i hope to be inducted into a local bass club next month so hopefully i will be able to travel to some regional lakes including smith, kerr, gaston, anna, and such. anyway thanks for having me and look forward to sharing my knowledge and talking with all of you sean

wv basser, welcome -- I fish claytor also, about a 100 times a year because I keep a deck boat at Conrads. We'll have to get togather and fish sometimes.

sounds good bcklash. i just love catching smallies at claytor. alot of people around here talk down on claytor, which surprises me cause most are proficient fishermen, i keep having to show them pics to make them believe me when i tell them the fishing is that good!

Welcome aboard Sean, just make yourself at home here on the forum, sharing stories about the big one that got away and bragging about your trophy catch or whatever else happen to be on your mind.
For starters I would like to compliment you on your beautiful state of West Virginia, I have family their and had lived there for a few years, it is almost heaven. ~Woody |
