Default Berkley Trilene Sensation?

Does anyone use Berkley Trilene Sensation for there worm or jig fishing? SEEMS like it would be pretty good, but how good is it really? But is it really sensitive? I know it wont be as sensitive as like braid or something, but compared to sufix siege, is it much more sensitive, and worth $10.00?<br>

I used to use it but got a couple of bad batches and stopped. I used 10lb for my spinning reels and fishing light plastics. Sensithin was great line (my opinion) and they replaced it with Sensation which didn't hold up (my opinion).

I used it a few times several years back and liked it very much. However, if you look at the customer reviews on the product at BPS and Cabelas websites, you'll find it's popularity is questionable. I'm not sure what happened to Sensation line, but many users swear it's not the same line it used to be, and in fact is less desirable now. I found so many negative comments that I chose not to try it again. I'm sticking with Silver Thread from Bagley for my narrow diameter mono needs. It's actually a copolymer which is thinner and stronger than true mono.

Exactly.

I don't know if Sensithin is still made any more but the stores around me don't carry it and haven't since Sensation came out.

Tried it but really didn't like it. Switched to P-Line Floroclear and never looked back.

I wonder how that compares to P-Line CXX copolymer line, which I really like in #6 and #8? They're described about the same, but Sensation is a "multi-polymer."
