Default Taking a Revo STX Apart Help..

I am trying to oil and grease my Revo STX's and I cant get them apart. I have seen the photo details on the net ( other forums ) but I cannot seen to get the left side cover to slide , even after I loosen the long screw.( photos 5 and 6 )..anyone else taken one apart ?

Nevermind , i just got it. I had to use a screwdriver to get some leverage , now it has a nasty little mark in the plastic on the bottom side...o-well..

I had the same problem. I just said screw it and left it alone. Make sure you don't hit the thumb bar while it's apart. I did on one of my brand new 7.1's and messed it up bad. Lucky for me the guy at gander mountain where I got it was cool and replaced it for me.

Once you get that side cover to move it is pretty easy to lube and oil up...
