You can slip a piece of old plastic worm about 3/16th of a inch up through the hook and next to the skirt, then wrap some line around it and tie it off, then super glue it.

Yeah i wasn just going to say superglue it. But you can also try an adhesive called shoe goo. YOu can get it Wal Marts and K Marts. Its usually in the aisle with the shoes. It comes in a little tube or a big tube. If i can get pics ill post them actually ill post a link to the pics of them. http://www.ontherun.co.uk/acatalog/Shoe_Goo.html I dont know if i did that right but if you cant figure out where to find it then ask the person at the store. They better be ab;e to tell you what it is. A better bet would probably to go to a shoe store around you. Its a water proofing adhesive thing for shoes and stuff like that but most people that skate use it to hold there shoes together until they can buy new ones. once you use it though make sure you wash your hands because that stuff once it dries it sucks to get off. be careful with it, and goodluck.

I like to put a little stainless steel wire around the rubber collar to hold the skirt in place

I have experimented a little bit lately with using small electrical ties to attach skirts.

an alternative to stainless steel wire is bendy metal. if there is a petsmart by you go to the fish section. find the aquatic plants and if you notice there are metal bands holding the clods of plants together. the one my mom works at has a cup full of those bands setting ontop the tank. just ask an employee if you can have a few as they are of no use to them anyway or at least in those numbers.

Just make sure that you don't kiss the bass that you catch that have pulled the skirts down. Those are the boy bass! (Giggle) - Jimmy Houston
