Default Fresh off the Table, What do you Think.

Here are some pictures of some jigs I just got done with. Hand poured, skirts are assembled by hand. The jig trailers are also hand poured, garlic and salt added. Several different colores. May even think of selling a few!

I think they look good. If you are looking to sell, then find you a couple of field testers and have them write you a report. If you are doing this as a hobby and looking to get some input, then take what some of the people here say to heart and have fun with it.

Question Colors

I have yet to have the privalage of fishing in Florida or Texas. What are some of the most fished colors down that way. Dont figure there to be much difference than here in KY. There is probably just a little more temp swing and climate change here. Gets kinda scary launching your boat here in January, the slushy boat ramps make me DRAW tight. lol

Colors really vary more with water color than they do with region. A color that has worked down here year round no matter the water clarity is a watermelon flake. I'd say a solid black jig, with a red/black skirt would slay some fish. Maybe with a trailor in pumpkin on it.

What type of cover is prone in Florida? I figure alot of grass? Most of our lakes are man made, alot of tree stumps left from lakes being made. And short of KY and Barkley most of our lakes are rather deep, unless you make a long run up into some of the creeks where you are still in the 15-20foot range. Well i should say 10-15 foot deep beings we are 15inches below average in the rain dept. at this point. None of our lakes made it to summer pool. Fishing has been bad this year, no oxygen!
