Default Lizard buzzbait combo idea?

So I've got me a pet bass I keep in a 60 gal tank, and when I can't got to the pond to get it minnows, I go outside and catch it a lizard or two, or three, or four, or five.... thing's a porker, it'll eat up to five 4 inchers at a time! And for those who care they're called brown allies

Anyways, when I throw them into the tank.. they kick up a lot of water, and they kind of look like a buzzbait does on the water. So I got to thinking.. what if I took at 5 - 6" brown plastic lizard, took off the skirt on a buzzbait, and put on the lizard. To me it would seem like it would work really well. What do you guys think of it? Any try it before?

Pretty cool pet. How big is it?
I think it's illegal in MN, or else I may consider a few Pumpkinseeds. I have a couple old aquariums.

8" or so, probably less. It's really fun though... I'm not sure if it's legal or not here come to think of it!?

Give it a shot...cant hurt to try it. I was thinking the other day about trying to put ultravibe legs on a lizard, but its not nearly easy as it sounds.

Try it and let us know how it turns out. I bet the Rage Tail lizard would work well with it.

I haven't tried it with a lizard, but we do it with 3 and 4" paddle tail grubs (White) in the creeks around here. We remove the skirt because it seems to work better that way. I reckon it mimics the baitfish skitting across the top of the water. It could just be a reaction bite due to the retrieve speed in the current, but like I said, we get a lot more hits with the grub than the skirt.

Nothing ventured nothing gained - I'll give it a shot this week.

I make a lizard noisy by cutting off the tail and welding on a speedworm ultra vibe tail made by zoom. On the top, it buzzes.
