Castable depth finder
Saw these on Bass Pro Shop's website. Seems like a pretty neat system for bank fishermen. I would think the only draw back would be reliability. They don't cost very much and would definitely help bank fishermen gain a better understanding of the water they're fishing. I wouldn't care if they marked fish but bottom contour and depth would be awesome.
Looks like some of the reviews are less than stellar but the idea seems good. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...003000_250-3-0 wrist watch model http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...003000_250-3-0

This was pretty popular about 10 years ago. I always thought it was a good idea, but it just seemed to vanish for awhile. First I've seen them in quite some time.

You know when you sent me this link...BPS was the only real bad reviews I saw...Other places reviews said they work great for what they are.
I think they're worth a shot and I plan on picking one up
